“ The family and I stopped in at Got Sushi to celebrate a few things and noticed that they had some work done and re-branded the place. They used to primarily be sushi and teppanyaki but took out the teppanyaki tables and replaced them with mini grills you’d find at a Korean bbq place. It was a refreshing change and one I’m glad they made as there aren’t many Korean bbq places located in East Mesa. The wait staff is still the same personable, kind and helpful ladies we’ve always enjoyed working with. The prices and portions of Korean bbq are pretty comparable to what you would find at just about any place in the valley. We went with letter C which was kalbi (short ribs), beef bulgogi and pork belly. Between the 4 of us on our end of the table, it was a great amount of food! The meat was pretty good quality and tasted delicious. All the traditional sides were served and if you needed any refills they gladly obliged. Stop by if you ever have a chance! ”
“ Did you know that the word Teppanyaki in Japanese means ‘splash hot oil in customer’s eye? Although Got Sushi tossed out its much beloved teppanyaki tables (and chefs) ages ago, the cuisine and customer service still SIZZLE! So after hittin’ the ballot box and pounding down two Whopper Junior appetizers at BK, I was ready for a REAL meal. And I found it at Got Sushi! The tall bottle of Kirin (not Japanese?) and Lemon Chicken Bento box instantly made life worth living again. Gochisosama deshita! ”
“ Would definitely recommend! Fast service and delicious looking and tasting sushi! We got 4 rolls the sweet and spicy, Las Vegas, veggie, and California. ”
“ Really great service fast and friendly! Miso soup came complimentary. The edamame was fresh and steamed perfectly. The sushi chef helped me pick out which rolls I would like best! Loved all 7 of them! Had my birthday dinner here and came out with green tea icecream! So happy and wonderful! My new favorite place for sushi and for a birthday dinner. ”
“ Decent sushi for a decent price, just what you'd expect :). I thought their sushi selection was actually better than some other places. Some places are just 15 different variations of a California roll, but they did a good job of mixing it up here. Not the top of my list but it's great for a date night! ”
“ Very fresh beautiful and delicious sushi! Wish I would have taken a picture of the Palm Springs roll it was amazing delicious and beautiful. My new favorite roll! ”
“ This place improved a lot since last time I reviewed. They added ramen to the menu now. This place has been around for a long time. Sushi here is really good. Unfortunately, other alternate options like the chinese food are alright but expensive. Mind as well spend more money on the . This place can honestly use some renovations. There are a lot of people order takeout here rather than coming in. It's probably best to enjoy their sushi fresh from the bar and talk to very friendly people at the sushi bar. They're also very fast. I think they changed the owner a few years back, and that explains the poor customer service. It's a shame because this place was alive and filled with people when I visited in the past. Now it's kind of a ghost town and a place to order takeout. The alcohol bar is covered in takeout plastic bags and containers. One of the table near the bar is a financial office for this old lady doing paperwork while people are awkwardly eating in the same room lol. ”
“ Delicious! We ordered pot stickers, Philly roll, Korean beef bulgogi. It was all absolutely delicious. This will be our new Asian go-to restaurants. We ordered take out but the inside is lovely for dine in as well. Great service, very nice staff, fast, all was great. My kids loved it too, including my picky eater. Great variety of Asian cuisine. ”
